Much branched evergreen tree up to 18 m. high, with broad rounded crown.. Leaves: petiole with rhachis 2–5 cm. long; stipules persistent, foliaceous, obliquely ovate to ovate-oblong, 0.7–1.5 cm. long; petiole 3–10 mm. long; leaflets (2–)4, sessile, elliptic to ovate-elliptic or obovate-elliptic, 3–12 cm. long, 2–7 cm. wide, mostly obtuse at apex, not emarginate.. Panicles compact; axes pubescent, up to 1–2.5 cm. long; pedicels unusually long (1.5–3.5 cm.), glabrous, jointed about 5 mm. below the hypanthium.. Flowers white.. Sepals 4, 4–7 mm. long.. Petals ± 7–8 mm. long, but damaged ones only examined.. Pods unknown.
