Leaves erect or spreading, lanceolate, elliptical or oblong-elliptical, acuminate to obtuse, 3–14 cm. long, 1–3.5 cm. broad, glabrous.. Inflorescence laxly or rarely densely 3–30-fiowered, 5–18 cm. long; rhachis glandular hairy.. Bracts lanceolate, acuminate, shorter than the ovary, sparsely hairy.. Flowers pink, mauve or purple, base of lip paler with dark spots, suberect; pedicel with ovary ± 1 cm. long.. Dorsal sepal ovate, subacute, 3–6 mm. long, convex; laterals spreading, semi-orbicular, obtuse, 4.5–8 mm, long.. Petals obliquely ovate, elliptical or oblong, 3–4.5 mm, long, obtuse.. Lip cuneate in general shape, ± truncate and shortly 3-lobed or 3-dentate at the apex, with a short rounded lobe on each side at the base, 6–9.5 mm. long.. Spur ± incurved, slender, 5–8.5 mm. long..
