Flower-bud up to 2·3 mm. long, oblong-cylindric, slightly constricted near the middle, glabrous or almost so.
Prostrate herb; stems brownish-tomentose to pubescent; tendrils absent.
Ovary glabrous; style 1·5 mm. long; stigma scarcely capitate.
Calyx 0·5 mm. long, subentire, pubescent.
Petals yellowish or reddish.
Fruit (immature) glabrous.
