Leaves digitately 3–5-foliolate; petiole up to 5 cm. long, pubescent; leaflets up to 6 × 2 cm., oblanceolate to narrowly obovate, apex acute, margin serrate-crenate with gland-tipped teeth, base cuneate, scabrid-puberulous above, sparsely puberulous especially on the nerves below; lateral leaflets sessile or sub-sessile, median leaflet with petiole up to 1 cm. long; stipules, up to 1 cm. long, lanceolate, acuminate, minutely ciliate.
Cymes on short side-branches, lax; peduncle up to 4 cm. long, glabrous; pedicels up to 4 mm. long, glabrous; bracts and bracteoles up to 2 mm. long, lanceolate, glabrous.
Flower-bud up to 2·5 mm. long, oblong-cylindric, constricted near the middle, glabrous except for a single stipitate gland near the apex of each petal.
Climbing herb with tuberous root, stems pubescent or glabrescent; tendrils present.
Ovary glabrous; style c. 1·5 mm. long; stigma subcapitate.
Calyx up to 0·4 mm. long, subentire, glabrous.
Ripe fruit not known.
