Leaves somewhat fleshy, digitately 3–5-foliolate, sessile or nearly so; leaflets narrowly obovate, narrowly elliptic, ovate-elliptic or elliptic, 3–11 cm. long, 1.2–4.3 cm. wide, obtuse to acute at the apex, cuneate to narrowly truncate or asymmetric at the base, crenate-serrate or serrate, sparsely puberulous when young but soon glabrous except for some hairs on the midrib above and glandular hairs beneath; median petiolules 0.5–2 cm. long, the laterals often obsolete or up to 5 mm. long; stipules obliquely ovate to ovate-lanceolate, 0.4–1 cm. long, 1.5–5 mm. wide, the margins with gland-tipped hairs..
