Suberectum, ut videtur, ca. 15 cm. altum, caule ramisque primariis crassis subcarnosisque, ad 7 mm. diam., cortice pallide brunneo, glabro; ramuli floriferi 6-8-foliati, parce pilosi, pilis patentibus, 4-5 cm. longi, internodiis 6-9 mm. longis, 2 mm. diam.; folia patentia-erecta, supra superne convexa, dorso rotundata, lat. visa superne leviter ampliata, obtusa, papillis, praecipue in noveflis, subnitentibus minutissimeque setiferis, saepe 1.5 cm. longa, ad 4 mm., saepius 3 mm., lata diametroque, vagina fere ad 1 mm. longa; flores saepius solitarii vel demum 3-nati, lateralibus tardissime evolutis; pedunculi teretes, 1-2 cm. longi, cum receptaculo semigloboso, 2.5-4 mm. longo, ad 6 mm. diam., papillate pilosi; sepala 5, valde inaequilonga, 4-10 mm. longa; petala 2-3-seriata, interiora pauca, obtusa vel emarginata, e medio interne angustata albaque, superne pallide rosea, ad 1.1 cm. longa, ad 2 mm. lata; staminodia sat pauca, superne recurva, stamina conice collecta leviter excedentia; filamenta alba, exteriora basi obscure ciliate papillata, interiora prope basin sat dense papillata, ad 3 mm. longa, antheris pollineque aureis; glandulae 5, distantes; ovarium concavum, dimidio interiore lobato, lobis abrupte ad 0.75 elevatis, dorso subcomplanatis; stigmata 5, subulata, 1.5 mm. longa; capsulageneris, expansa 9 mm. diam.; semina fere rotunda, levia brunnea.

Leaves in pairs, mostly aggregated near ends of branches, 8-10 mm long, 3-4 mm thick, elongate-ovate, densely covered with round bladder-cells.
