Suberectum glabrum; rami adscendentes, 8-10 cm. longi, vel patentes, vel decumbentes elongatique ad 25 cm., inferne lignescentes, 1-5 mm. diam., papillis siccis persistentibus vix promineiitibus, crebris, internodiis saepe 2-3.5 cm. longis; folia fere erecta vel demum patentia, supra plana vel leviter concava, dorso rotundata, lat. visa superne angustata, acuta vel acuminata, papillis inconspicuis, sordide viridia, 2-2.8 cm. longa, medio 2-4 mm. lata, saepius 2-3 mm. diam., vagina 0.5 mm. longa; flores saepius 3-nati, rarius solitarius vel 2-ternati; pedunculi minute papillati, papillis prominentibus, ultra bracteas 1.5-2.5 cm. longi vel fructiferi ad 4 mm.; receptaculum subturbinatum, 4 mm. longum, ad 5-6.5 mm. diam.; sepala 5, acuminata, saepius 5-7 mm., rarius 4-6 mm., vel 6-8 mm., longa, basi 2.5-3 mm. lata; petala 2-seriata vel interiora pauca interdum addita, obtusa, dimidio inferiore angustata, rosea, saepius 1-1.3 cm. longa, ad 1.5 mm. lata; staminodia sat numerosa, apicem versus recurva vel revoluta, stamina conferta adpressa, rosea, ad 8 mm. longa; filamenta pallide rosea, ad 5 mm. longa, intima supra medium papillata, antheris albis, polline pallide stramineo; glandulae distantes, obscure crenulatae; ovarii lobi valde compressi, approximati, glandulas fere attingentes, per 1 mm. elevati; stigmata 5, onguste subulata, intus inferne longe papillata, breviter caudata, 3 mm. longa; capsula apice 7 mm. diam., supra per 2 mm. elevata, lobis valde compressis, marginibus ringentibus.
