Leaves up to 9, distichous, falcate, linear-oblanceolate, unequally bilobed at apex, 10–44 cm. long, 1–3.5 cm. wide, twisted at base, articulated to a sheathing base 1.2–3 cm. long.. Inflorescences pendulous, 1–several, up to 60 cm. long, up to 60-flowered; peduncle 2–20 cm. long; bracts amplexicaul, 3–5 mm. long.. Flowers usually borne in whorls of up to 4, greenish yellow, diurnally scented; pedicel and ovary 1–2.25 mm. long.. Dorsal sepal linear-triangular, acute, 7–10.5 mm. long, 2–2.2 mm. wide; lateral sepals slightly falcate, linear, acute, 9.7–11.2 mm. long, 2–3 mm. wide.. Inflorescences of several pendulous racemes, numerous-flowered, 100-300 mm long; bracts papery, small. Flowers either opposite or in whorls of 4, greenish or yellowish. Sepals subequal, spreading forwards, linear-lanceolate, acute, 8-12 x 2-3 mm. Petals arched over the gynostemium, linear-lorate, acute, 6-10 x 2 mm. Lip triangular to obscurely pandurate, fimbriate along apical margin with a 3 mm long apiculus, 8-13 x 3-6 mm; spur erect, 7-10 mm long, inflated above the base, laterally compressed, acute. Gynostemium winged, 3 mm tall; viscidium solitary; rostellum beak-like.
Lip 7.5–13 × 5–8 mm, rectangular, the side margins erose, ± 3-lobed at the apex, the mid-lobe forming an acumen c. 2 mm long, and with a tooth in the mouth of the spur; spur 6–12.5 mm long, geniculate at the base, swollen in the middle.
Flowers greenish, greenish-yellow, creamy-yellow or almost white, with a musky scent, borne in whorls of 2–4 at the inflorescence nodes.
Dorsal sepal 7–13.5 × 2–3.5 mm, narrowly triangular, acute, arched; lateral sepals 9.5–14 × 2–3.5 mm, linear, falcate, acute.
