Characteristics

Vine. Leaves of 2 types: (a) petiole 2–3 mm long; lamina flattened-orbicular, 2.5–2.7 cm long, 1.6–1.8 cm wide, cuneate at base, acuminate, grey-green, pruinose, not mealy; colleters 2; or (b) petiole 3–8 mm long; lamina pitcher-like, 8–10 cm long, 3–4 cm wide, truncate at base, flattened on surface adjacent to host plant. Inflorescence of 1 or 2 fascicles. Flowers 3–4 mm long, 2.5–3 mm diam.; pedicels 3.5–4 mm long. Corolla narrowly urceolate, cream; lobes lanceolate, c. 1.5 mm long, c. 0.5 mm wide, acuminate. Corolline corona of 5 lobes at base of corolla lobes. Staminal corona lobes stalked, with obcordate, incurved apices. Follicles 4.5–5 cm long.
