Characteristics

Plants 90-270 mm; leaves 2, cauline, opposite, ovate, sometimes purple beneath, normally 30 x 20 mm. Inflorescences subcorymbose, 1-4 (-5)-flowered; bracts ovate, 5-20 x 3-15 mm. Flowers white, petals streaked green within; ovary narrowly cylindrical, twisted, 13-20 mm long. Median sepal forming a slender elongate tubular spur, projecting at 45°, 8-11 mm long; lateral sepals obliquely obovate to semi-orbicular, acute, 5-8 x 3-5 mm, spurs conical, 0.75 mm long. Petals adnate to the median sepal, falcate, oblong, 6-7 x 4-5 mm. Lip basally fused to the gynostemium, ascending; claw linear, incurved at the apex, 8 mm long; blade ligulate, 0.75 mm long; appendage paired, hanging over the blade, irregularly lobed, 0.75 mm long. Anther horizontal; stigmas linear along the anterior margin of the lateral rostellum lobes; rostellum arms suberect, 0.75 mm long.
