Leaves in spirals; lamina chartaceous when dry, obovate to oblanceolate, sometimes ovate, oblong or linear, (1–)3–19 × (0.4–)1–6 cm., apex acute to subobtuse, base obtuse to cuneate, margin repand to sinuate, pinnatifid to-lobed, with 2–8 lobes at each side, coarsely dentate or irregularly pinnately incised; upper surface glabrous and smooth or scabridulous, lower surface puberulous mainly on the veins; lateral veins 2–8 pairs; petiole 0.2–0.9 cm. long, ± 1 mm. thick; stipules subulate, 1.5–5 mm. long, persistent.. Inflorescences solitary or in pairs; peduncle 1–3.5 cm. long, ± 0.5 mm. thick..
