Flowers pink, pale towards base, pedicels short, filamentous staminodes and stamens mostly white, sometimes tipped red, arranged in a cone, nectary a ring. Fruit 5-locular, base short, distinct from pedicel, expanding keels ending in an awn, closing bodies flattened.
