Spikelet 3.5-4.0 mm long; glumes equal, ± as long as spikelet; sterile lemmas similar, glabrous, awnless; 1st sterile lemma shorter than 2nd sterile lemma; 2nd sterile lemma with a pair of ear-like appendages at base; anther 2.0-2.5 mm long.
