Petiole 0–2 mm long, puberulous; lamina coriaceous, 1.5–2.5 × 0.8–1.5 cm, ovate to broadly elliptic, obtuse to rounded at apex, cuneate to slightly rounded at base, puberulous at base, with 4 often obscure pairs of lateral nerves, lower 2 or more ascending.
Flowers 2–6 per umbel; peduncle 1–3 mm long, with a few small hairs; pedicels 4–5 mm long; bract 2 mm long, ovate-triangular from a shallow cup, gibbous, ciliolate.
Small shrub with numerous short spreading flowering branchlets; twigs compressed, scurfy puberulous with some short spreading hairs.
Stamens tightly coiled; tooth a little below the anther, 0.5–0.7 mm long; anthers 3–4 mm long.
Calyx 0.5 mm long, ciliolate.
Berry 5 × 3.5 mm, urceolate.
Receptacle 1–1.5 mm long.
