Shrub 1.2–1.8 m. high.. Branchlets pubescent; young parts clothed with spreading golden indumentum.. Leaves with 3–4 pairs of pinnae; tendrils absent; leaflets 8–13 pairs, oblong-elliptic, (1.3–)2.0–3.9(–4.6) cm. long, (0.5–)1–1.6 cm. wide, rounded or subtruncate at apex, obliquely rounded to subtruncate at base, pubescent beneath, ± pubescent to sub-glabrous above; midrib subcentral, at least in upper part of leaflet.. Racemes axillary, 1–3 together, 8–15 cm. long (including the 1.3–4 cm. long peduncle); axis pubescent.. Pedicels 1–1.5 mm. long.. Calyx glabrous or slightly pubescent at apex of lobes only, 1–2 mm. long.. Corolla greenish-white to yellow, about 3.5–4 mm. long, lobes 2.5–3.5 mm. long.. Stamen-filaments 5–6 mm. long.. Pods 26–37 cm. long, 8–9 cm. wide, slightly falcate, sub-coriaceous; stipe about 1.5–3.5 cm. long; joints slightly umbonate in centre.. Seeds about 12–13 mm. long and 9 mm. wide.

Calyx 1-2 mm. long, glabrous or slightly pubescent at the apex of the lobes only (rarely on the tube in var. plurijuga).
Corolla greenish-white to yellow, c. 3·5-4 mm. long; petals 2·5-3·5 mm. long.
Stamen-filaments 5-6 mm. long.
