Small, repent or pendent, epiphytic herbs up to about 5 dm. long. Stems slen-der, much branched, leafy, covered with the persistent leaf-sheaths, slightly an-cipitous, often flexuose. Leaves 6-25 mm. long and 2-6 mm. broad, linear-oblong to oblong to ovate, obtuse, coriaceous, usually obtuse and obscurely and unequally bibbed at the apex. Inflorescence a single flower borne terminally on the stem, subtended by one or more short scarious bracts; flowers-small, inconspicuous, maroon. Dorsal sepal 7-8 mm. long and about 2 mm. broad, elliptic-oblong or lanceolate, acute. Lateral sepals 7-8 mm. long and 1.8-3 mm. broad, elliptic-oblong to lanceolate-ovate, acute. Petals 6-7 mm. long and 0.7-1.5 mm. broad, linear, acute. Lip unguiculate; claw adnate to the column; lamina about 4 mm. long and as broad, triangular-cordate to cordate, simple, fleshy, ecallose or pro-vided with a short, fleshy, lamellate callus toward the apex.
