Calyx 4-lobed, 1.5 x 1.0 mm, cyathiform, 4-angled, angles obtuse alternating with lobes, with main vein of lobes swollen to form a thickened minor ridge, sparsely puberulous with hairs mainly on angles and ridges, green to pink; lobes 1/3 length of calyx, triangular with rounded apex and wide apical sulcus. Corolla 4-lobed, 3.5 x 1.2 mm, tubular tapering to the base, smooth, pink; lobes 1/10 the length of corolla, rounded, erect. Stamens 4, free, exserted; filaments 4 mm long, elongate-linear, straight, glabrous, pale; anthers bilobed, basally attached, oblong, muticous; thecae 1 mm long, oblong-falcate, erect adpressed, with a few fine spicules on edges, reddish brown; pore 1/3 length of theca; pollen in monads. Ovary 2-locular, 1 mm long, ellipsoid flattened, subacute, glabrous, with distinct nectaries around base; ovules 1 per locule, pendulous, placenta apical; style thin, exserted, glabrous, up to 2x the length of corolla; stigma simple, truncate.
