Leaves 3-nate, erect to spreading, sometimes recurved, somewhat crowded, 3.1-5.3 mm long, linear to oblong, subobtuse, sulcate, glabrous, glossy, ciliate. Flowers terminal, or by abortion of floriferous branchlets apparently lateral; pedicels 2-4 mm long; bracts 2. Calyx sepals ± 1.6 mm long, lanceolate, acute, keeled, rigid, somewhat scarious, glabrous. Corolla 2.0-3.2 mm long, narrow-cyathiform to urceolate, minutely hispidulous, white.
