Suffrutex 40 cm vel ultra altus, ramosus, ramis pubescentibus. Folia ternata, erecto patentia, aciculiformia, subtus sulcata, 3-6 mm longa, 0.7-1 mm lata, glabra, nitentia. Flores verisimiliter albescentes; pedicelli c. 2.5 mm longi, minute pubescentes, bracteis 3, subaequalibus, 1 mm longis, oblongo-lanceolatis, membranaceis, glabris, una inferiori, duabus superioribus distantibus, oppositis; sepala membranacea, suberecta sed vix adpressa, lanceolata, acuta, 2 mm longa, 0.7 mm lata, subglabra; corolla tubuloso-campanulata, 2.6-2.8 mm longa, lobis rotundatis; filamenta complanata, 2 mm longa; antherae demum exsertae, 1.4 mm longae, ad basin divisae, evidenter caudatae (0.2-0.4 mm longe); stylus c. 4 mm longus, stigmate paullo incrassato; capsula puberula.

Erect, bushy shrub, 0.3-1.5 m high. Leaves 3-nate, 1.5-4.2 x 0.5-1.0 mm, linear, ± acute, erect or spreading. Flowers in 2-4-flowered heads, umbellate, terminating short branchlets, that are racemosely arranged along branches. Calyx: sepals free, 1.5-2.8 mm long, coriaceous, lanceolate, acute, keeled down back, minutely ciliate. Corolla tubular or tubular-campanulate; tube 2.1-2.8 mm long, glabrous, not angular, white to pale pink; lobes 0.7 mm long, broadly ovate-oblong, very obtuse, spreading. Stamens 4, exserted; anthers 1.4 mm long, oblong with nearly parallel sides, black; appendages 0.3-0.4 mm long. Ovary oblong, quadrate, puberulous; style exserted beyond anthers, 3.2-4.2 mm long; stigma simple. Flowering time Apr.-Sept.
