Characteristics

Fruticulus; rami patentes, curvi, inferne nudi cinereique, ramulis cano-tomentosis dense foliosis. Folia 4-na vel interdum sparsa, imbricata, erecto-patentia, lineari-teretia, obtusa, sulcata, cano-puberula, junioribus villosis, 0.8-1.4 cm longa. Flores 1-4-ni. Pedicelli 6-8 mm longi cano-pubescentes. Bracteae sub-approximatae vel interdum subremotae, parvae, pubescents. Sepala ovata, ovato-lanceolatave, subobtusa, basi imbricata, carinata, pubescentia, 5 mm longa. Corolla bucciniformis, leviter incurva, glabra, sulfurea, 2.8-3.2 cm longa, limbi segmentis brevibus rotundatis. Stamina exserta vel sub-exerta, filamentis capillaribus, rectis, antheris linearibus laevibus, poro breviore quam loculi dimidium, basi aristatis. Stylus exsertus rectus, stigmate capitato. Ovarium turbinatum, parte superior villosa.
