Branches: numerous erect main branches with numerous 1-5 mm long flowering lateral branchlets, pubescent, occasionally with shortly stalked glands admixed, no infrafoliar ridges, bark splitting irregularly. Leaves 3-nate, subspreading, 2.5 x 0.6 mm, lanceolate, flattened adaxially, rounded abaxially, acute-angular, glabrous, sparsely ciliate and with a few stalked glands, apex with tuft of longer hairs, narrowly sulcate; petiole 0.7 mm long, adpressed, pilose with a few hairs and stalked glands. Inflorescence: flowers 3-nate in 1-2 whorls, when 2 then umbel-like, terminal on main branches and short secondary branchlets: pedicel 0.25 mm long, puberulous; bract partially recaulescent, approximate in position, 0.4-0.5 x 0.2 mm, lanceolate, apically minutely sulcate, bracteose, villous, pink with occasional green apex; bracteoles 2, 0.4 x 0.2 mm, otherwise like the bract. Calyx 4-lobed, lobes 1 mm long about 2/3 the length of calyx, triangular, submembraneous, villous, pink, apically broadly V5 sulcate. Corolla 4-lobed, 2.0 x 1.5 mm, obconical, colliculate, pink, lobes erect, 0.7 x 0.3 mm, broadly rounded, entire. Stamens 4, free, far exserted; filaments 2.6 mm long, elongate linear, weak, wavy; anthers dorsally attached near base, oblong-obovate, spurred or occasionally muticous; thecae 0.7 x 0.5 mm, elliptic-oblong, very slightly falcate, minutely aculeate, dark brown; spurs as small lateral projections from the apex of the filament; pore 1/3 the length of theca; pollen in monads. Ovary 1-locular, 0.4 x 0.3 mm, asymmetrically ovoid, acute, glabrous, with nectaries around base; ovule 1, pendulous from apical placenta; style exserted, filiform, straight, up to 2x as long as corolla; stigma capitellate.
