Erect shrub, 1.0-1.5(-2.0) m high. Leaves 3-nate, erect, imbricate, 2 mm long, linear, subobtuse, sulcate, glabrous. Flowers many, densely clustered; pedicels slender, > 2 mm long; bracts 2, small. Calyx sepals ± 1 mm long, lanceolate, acute, keeled, scarious, glabrous. Corolla ± 2 mm long, tubular-cyathiform to urceolate, slightly widened at mouth, glabrous; lobes ± 1/4 length of tube, pink. Anthers exserted, lateral, 1.3 mm long, oblong, obtuse, slightly incurved, aristate; pore varying from nearly orbicular 1/5-1/4 length of theca, to elliptic 1/4-1/3 length of theca; appendages ± 1/3 length of theca, recurved.
