Characteristics

Leaflets 3, densely silvery tomentose, or at least paler beneath, 4–8 × 1.5–3 cm, ± elliptic-oblong or obovate-oblong, rounded but mucronulate, cuneate, sparsely pubescent above, densely pubescent and with numerous small orange glands beneath; venation prominent beneath forming a raised network; petiole 1.5–2.5 cm long; rhachis 1–2 cm long; petiolules densely pubescent, 2–3 mm long.

Standard reddish-brown outside, 8–10 × 7(10) mm, elliptic or rounded obovate, pubescent and glandular outside; wings and keel greenish or bright yellow.
Inflorescences numerous, axillary, subsessile, paniculate, 1.5–3 cm long; pedicels 2–3 mm long; bracteoles 3 mm long, enveloping in bud, deciduous.
Pods 1.8–3 × 0.8–1.2 cm, elliptic-oblong, with a velvety covering of densely matted yellowish or silvery-grey hairs and numerous small glands.
