Sparsely branched erect perennial herb 30–60 cm. tall.. Branches densely covered with spreading pale ferruginous hairs.. Leaflets 3, oblong-elliptic, 2·2–4·2 cm. long, 0·7–1·5 cm. wide, obtuse and obscurely mucronate at the apex, rounded at the base, densely shortly hairy on both surfaces, somewhat velvety, glands inconspicuous; venation raised beneath, somewhat reddish; petiole 2·5–3·5 mm. long; rhachis 1–2 mm. long; petiolules 1–2 mm. long; stipules lanceolate, 7–8 mm. long, 2·5 mm. wide, scarious, pubescent, closely veined, ± connate.. Inflorescences axillary, shorter than the leaves, 2–3-flowered; peduncles 2–8 mm. long; pedicels 2–3 mm. long; bracts very deciduous, ovate, 3 mm. long, 2 mm. wide.. Calyx densely pilose, 7 mm. long; lobes narrowly lanceolate, ± twice as long as the tube.. Corolla yellow; standard obovate, 1–2 cm. long, 8 mm. wide, densely pubescent..
