Leaflets 3, elliptic, elliptic-oblong or ovate-oblong, 2·5–14 cm. long, 1·3–8 cm. wide, obtuse or rounded to an acuminate apex, cuneate or mostly rounded at the base, softly pubescent or velvety and glandular on both surfaces and with longer hairs on the raised nerves beneath; petiole (1·5–)3–4 cm. long; rhachis 0·3–1·5 cm. long; petiolules 2–5 mm. long, ferruginous bristly; stipules narrowly triangular, 0·6–1·2 cm. long, 3–5·5 mm. wide, hairy, closely veined..
