Characteristics

Leaves 3-foliolate; leaflets 1–5 × 0.4–1.5 cm, narrowly to very narrowly elliptic or elliptic-oblong, acute at the apex, narrowly rounded to cuneate at the base, glabrous or puberulous above, appressed pubescent on main venation beneath, densely and usually obviously red gland-dotted beneath; stipules 3.5–5 × 1 mm, lanceolate, deciduous; petiole 1–12 mm long; rhachis 2–6 mm long.
