Cymes axillary and terminal, solitary on very sparsely pilose peduncles to 10 cm. long, forking 2–3 times; bracts similar to the leaves.. Cyathia on pilose peduncles to 8 cm. long, ± 5 × 5 mm., with cup-shaped involucres; glands 5, ± 2 × 2.8 mm., deeply bilobed, with the apices of the lobes entire to distinctly crenate; involucral lobes transversely elliptic, ± 1 × 2 mm. margin distinctly toothed, ciliate.. Male flowers: bracteoles few, strap-shaped, feathery; stamens 7 mm. long..
