Characteristics

Bisexual, erect, glabrous herb, 0.15-0.50 m high, with annual stems from perennial rootstock. Leaves often densely clustered, 3-12 x 0.5-1.0 mm, reflexed, linear with revolute margins. Cyathia in terminal umbel, ± 3 mm in diam.; glands 4, ± crescent-shaped, with 2 short horns on outer margins. Flowering time Sept.-Feb. Capsule ± 4 mm in diam., obtusely 3-angled, exserted for 3.5-5.0 mm.
