Characteristics

Unisexual, acaulescent, geophytic perennial, up to 50 mm high, from ellipsoidal tuber. Leaves deciduous, 25-120 x 2-12 mm, from narrowly oblanceolate to linear or filiform, tapering below into slender petioles 12-100 mm long, grey-green, glabrous. Cyathia several on deciduous peduncles 25-125 mm long, 4-6 mm in diam.; glands 5, entire, yellow-green to brown. Flowering time Sept.-Mar. Capsule 6-8 mm in diam., obtusely 3-angled, pubescent, sessile.
