Calyx tube 2–2.3 mm. long, campanulate; lobes 2.2–2.5 x 0.9–1 mm., ovate, apiculate, winged on the keel, 1-nerved.
Ovary 2.3–2.5 x 1–1.3 mm., obovoid-cylindric; style 4.2–4.5 mm. long; stigma shortly bilobed.
Corolla tube 3–4.2 mm. long; lobes 2.5–3 x 1.25–1.5 mm., ovate lanceolate, subacute.
Flowers white, in 6 flowered fascicles; pedicels 3–6 mm. long, filiform, 4-ridged.
Filaments 1.7–2 mm. long, filiform; anthers 1–1.2 mm. long, ellipsoid.
Stem woody at the base, up to 35 cm. long, 4-ridged, almost winged.
Seeds c. 0.5 mm. in diam., globose, minutely scrobiculate.
Capsule 2.5–2.75 x 1–1.5 mm., ovoid-ellipsoid.
Succose, branched, perennial herb.
