Characteristics

Flowers white, in axillary 3–9-flowered usually lax (except the lowest ones) fascicles; pedicels up to 8 mm. long, filiform, 4-ridged, not papillate.

Leaves 10–30 x 3–10 mm., oblong-elliptic or lanceolate, obtuse at the apex, cuneate or sometimes slightly cuneate at the base, thinly succose.
Calyx tube 0.6–0.9 mm. long, campanulate; lobes 1.3–1.7 x 0.9–1.2 mm., ovate, winged on the upper pan of the keel, 1-nerved.
Corolla tube cylindric 2–2.5 mm. long; lobes 2–2.5 x 0.8–1 mm., oblong-ovate, obtuse at the apex.
Stem decumbent or erect up to 18 cm. long, more or less branched from above the base, 4-ridged.
Ovary 1.7–2 x 0.8–1 mm., obovoid; style 3–4 mm. long, filiform; stigma subcapitate.
Filaments 2.2–2.8 mm. long, filiform; anthers 0.6–0.8 mm. long, ellipsoid.
Seeds c. 0.5 mm. in diam., globose, minutely scrobiculate.
Capsule 1.8–2.2 x 1 mm., obovoid.
