Camarosa × PS-1269; crossed 1996; selected 1998; introd. 2005. USPP 17,864; 17 July 2007. Tree: freezer yield similar to Camarosa; commercial quality yield greater than Camarosa under southern Californian conditions; small; short petioles; few bract leaflets; ease of fruit picking; inflorescences level with foliage; tolerant of two-spotted spider mites (Tetranychus urticae), aphids, and flower thrips (Frankliniella occidentalis), moderately tolerant of botrytis fruit rot (Botrytis cinerea), and powdery mildew. Fruit: red skin; medium to large, 26.8 g, similar to Camarosa; uniform conical to flat-conical; smooth fruit, lacking ridges or creases; flesh medium-red, gloss, firmness, and flavor similar to Camarosa; achenes level with surface; early harvest, beginning in late December, 20% to 25% production by late February.
