A large-fruited strawberry with good tolerance to root rots. Origin: in Soinges-en-Sologne, France, by J. Marionnet, GFA, 21 Route de Courmemin, F-41230. Tree: short-day type; high yield; very vigorous, upright habit; winter hardy. Moderately susceptible to powdery mildew; very tolerant to root rots. Adapted to a range of soil conditions. Fruit: large; medium firm; medium red; long conic shape; fairly good flavor; fairly good shelf life. mid-to late-season ripening; moderately susceptible to Botrytis-caused rot.
