Everbearing strawberry adapted to northern Europe. Origin: East Malling Research, Kent, UK, by D.W. Simpson, J.A. Bell, and K.J. Hammond. Complex pedigree including Evita, Selva, Elsanta, Providence, and Etna; crossed 2000; selected 2001; tested as EMR287; introd. 2005; EU PVR 21,939. Tree: vigorous; very high yield; flowers level with foliage, good runner production; moderately resistant to powdery mildew; susceptible to phytophthora crown rot. Fruit: deep red skin; very large; conical, irregular primary berries then uniform; medium firm; excellent flavor; ripens July to October.
