Origin: in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia, by J. Cox, Gosford Hort. Res. Sta., New South Wales Dept. Agr. Introd. in 1975. Cambridge Favourite × Tioga; cross made in 1969, selected in 1970. Tree: small; dense, low growth habit; vigor moderate; productivity high, about 40 oz per plant; moderately resistant to powdery mildew, susceptible to leaf spot. Fruit: large; slightly wedge shaped; skin firm, gloss medium; flesh firm; a dessert variety; ripens about 3 weeks before Torrey.
