Tree: high yielding; low vigor with many runners; peduncles erect during flowering, semi-erect as fruit matures. Probably resistant to powdery mildew and leaf scorch; some susceptibility to leaf spot; resistant to some races of the red stele causal organism; high level of winter hardiness; partially tolerant to herbicide terbacil. Fruit: large; wedge shape; moderately firm; moderately glossy; medium-red external and light-red internal color. Flavor similar to Chambly; midseason ripening; fresh-market use.
