Short-day strawberry suited for low-chilling areas. Origin: CIV Consorzio Italiano Vivaisti, Comacchio (Ferrara), Italy, by M. Leis, A. Martinelli, and G. Castagnoli. H3B1-20 × J9L3-42; crossed 1999; selected 2001; tested as Q6Q8-24. EU PVR applied for. Tree: good vigor; productivity good as frigo plant, very strong as fresh plant or plug plant; very tolerant of root and leaf diseases. Fruit: bright red; large; uniform long-conic; flesh red, very attractive, firm, very sweet, aromatic; early; easy to decap.
