Cultivation

Short-day strawberry adapted to the Netherlands and similar growing regions. Origin: Fresh Forward Holding, Eck en Wiel, the Netherlands, by E.J. Meulenbroek. E2008-001 × E2006-367, crossed 2011; selected 2012. Tree: vigor medium; growth habit upright; resistant to phytophthora crown rot, powdery mildew, and verticillium wilt. Fruit: medium to large; conic; skin glossy, reddish orange (43A); flesh light reddish orange (35B); firm; flavor pleasant, balanced, nice aroma; achenes slightly raised to at surface; ripens early; stores 7-10 d.
