Cultivation

Dayneutral cultivar adapted to the northern U.S. and southern Canada. Origin: Michigan State University, East Lansing, by J. Hancock. Seascape × MSU 38; crossed 2008; selected 2009, Benton Harbor, MI; tested as MSU 68. USPP 30,492; 6 Sept. 2018. Tree: vigor high; yield medium high, 604 g/plant; flowers above canopy. Fruit: midsized, 9.5 g, 3.2 cm long × 3.6 cm wide; conic; vivid red (RHS 45A); flesh vivid reddish orange (RHS 34A); moderately firm; flavor good, 10.2% SS, 1.04% TA; calyx small, surface; achenes at surface.
