Suberect or procumbent perennial herb. Stems, leaves, peduncles and pedicels glabrous or nearly so. Leaves in whorls of 4, 3-nerved, ovate, elliptic or rhombic. Inflorescence many-flowered. Mericarps densely covered with hooked white hairs. Flowers greenish, greenish white to yellowish.
