Inflorescence erect, simple or sparsely branched above, (5)10–30(50) cm. high; peduncle terete, sparsely to densely covered with long gland-tipped hairs above, more or less glabrous below; flowers (1)3–10 or more on branched inflorescences; scales few, similar to the bracts; bracts ovate-lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, acute or acuminate, 2–4 mm. long with marginal gland-tipped hairs; bracteoles similar but narrower; pedicels erect, (2)5–25(30) mm. long at anthesis usually elongating in fruit, more or less densely covered with long gland-tipped hairs.
