Leaf 100–180 mm long; free part 10–15 mm long, ending well below flowers. Spike 20–35 mm long, 3–20-flowered. Flowers crowded, semi-erect, 6 × 3 mm, dark purple. Dorsal sepal 4 × 2.5 mm, with dark bands; margins glabrous. Lateral sepals erect, parallel, 5 × 1.2 mm, not humped at base. Petals 3.5 × 1.2 mm, with dark bands; margins glabrous. Labellum stiffly hinged, elliptical to ovate-elliptical, 3 × 1.8 mm, thick, fleshy; margins with coarse hairs to 0.8 mm long. Callus not extending to labellum apex.
