Characteristics

Leaf 150–200 mm long; free part 10–15 mm long, ending below flowers. Spike 30–50 mm long, 15–30-flowered. Flowers crowded, semi-nodding, 5–6 × 4–5 mm, dark purplish red. Dorsal sepal 3.5–4 × 2 mm; margins glabrous; apex sharply pointed. Lateral sepals widely divergent, deflexed, 5–5.5 × 1.2–1.4 mm, base humped. Petals 3.3 × 1 mm; margins shortly hairy; apex with small white gland. Labellum stiffly hinged, oblong to narrowly elliptic, 3–3.3 × 1.3 mm, thick, fleshy, not curved; distal edges of labellum lamina and margins with numerous very short gland-tipped hairs; apex tapered in suddenly, shortly pointed. Callus strongly colluviate to shortly hairy, widest near base then oblong, extending nearly to labellum apex.
