Leaf 80–120 mm long; free part 10–20 mm long, ending well below flowers. Spike 10–20 mm long, 3–12-flowered. Flowers moderately crowded, semi-nodding, 5 × 3.5 mm, green to brownish green with reddish petals and reddish labellum. Dorsal sepal 3 × 2 mm; margins glabrous, reddish; apex sharply pointed. Lateral sepals porrect to semi-nodding, 4 × 1.2 mm, distally papillate; apex with vestigial gland or small gland. Petals 3 × 1.3 mm; margins glabrous, reddish; apex sharply pointed. Labellum stiffly hinged, narrowly elliptical, 2.7 × 1.4 mm; margins strongly irregular; apex bluntly pointed or mucronate. Callus oblong, constricted near middle, extending nearly to labellum apex.
Highly localised; growing in low heathland around boulders, on rock plates, and in heathy forest, in freely draining, sandy soil.
