Characteristics

Leaf 150–250 mm long; free part 10–15 mm long, ending below flowers. Spike 20–40 mm long, pyramidal, 1–45-flowered. Flowers crowded, strongly nodding, 5.5 × 3.5 mm, dark purple, brownish purple or green with purple markings. Dorsal sepal 3 × 1.7 mm, margins glabrous; apex sharply pointed. Lateral sepals decurved, divergent, 4 × 1 mm; apex sharply pointed. Petals 2 × 0.8 mm; margins glabrous; apex sharply pointed. Labellum stiffly hinged, lanceolate, 3 × 0.8 mm; margins irregularly and shortly toothed; apex sharply pointed, sometimes with an extended linear point. Callus nearly as wide as lamina, constricted near middle, extending nearly to labellum apex.
