Characteristics

Leaf 80–200 mm long; free part 10–18 mm long, ending below flowers. Spike 10–20 mm long, 1–9-flowered. Flowers moderately crowded, semi-nodding, 10 × 9 mm, greenish brown to reddish with prominent stripes on dorsal sepal and petals and purplish labellum. Dorsal sepal 5.5 × 3 mm; margins glabrous; apex sharply pointed. Lateral sepals obliquely erect, widely divergent, 7 × 1.8 mm; base not humped. Petals 5.5 × 1.8 mm; margins glabrous; apex sharply pointed. Labellum stiffly hinged, elliptical, 5 × 2.7 mm, thick and fleshy; margins with coarse hairs to 1 mm long; apex pointed, recurved. Callus broadest near base then tapered, extending nearly to labellum apex.
