Characteristics

Leaf 150–280 mm long; free part 10–22 mm long, ending well below first flower. Spike 10–30 mm long, 3–10-flowered. Flowers moderately crowded, porrect, 10 × 8.5 mm long, dark purple with darker stripes on dorsal sepal and petals. Segments thin textured. Dorsal sepal 6 × 3 mm; margins hairy; apex sharply pointed. Lateral sepals obliquely erect, widely divergent, 7.5 × 1.5 mm; base humped. Petals 4 × 1.5 mm; margins hairy; apex sharply pointed. Labellum tremulous, narrowly obovate, 5 × 1.6 mm, thin textured; margins densely hairy; apex pointed, recurved. Callus not extending near labellum apex.
