Characteristics

Leaf 80–140 mm long; free part 10–15 mm long, ending just below flowers. Spike 20–40 mm long, 5–20-flowered. Flowers crowded, semi-nodding, 4–4.5 × 3.5 mm, dark red. Dorsal sepal 2.2 × 1.5 mm; margins glabrous; apex pointed. Lateral sepals decurved, divergent, 4 × 1 mm; base humped. Petals 2.1 × 0.8 mm; margins glabrous; apex pointed, with a prominent large, white, S-shaped apical gland. Labellum stiffly hinged, broadly elliptical, 2.2 × 1.3 mm, thick, fleshy; margins with numerous short gland-tipped hairs; apex shortly pointed. Callus nearly as wide as labellum lamina, extending nearly to labellum apex.
