Characteristics

Leaf 100–180 mm long; free part 10–15 mm long, ending just below first flower. Spike 8–15 mm long, 1–8-flowered. Flowers moderately crowded, semi-nodding, 7–8 × 5.5 mm, green with pink to reddish markings and hairs. Dorsal sepal 4.5–5 × 3.5 mm; margins glabrous. Lateral sepals widely divergent, 5–5.5 × 1.5 mm, base red, not humped. Petals 4.3–4.6 × 1.5 mm, with red margins and three red central stripes; margins glabrous or with few short hairs towards base. Labellum stiffly hinged, oblong (ovate when flattened), c. 4.3 × 2.6 mm, pink to purplish-red; margins darker with numerous short, pink to purplish hairs to 0.6 mm long. Callus dark red, broadest near base then sharply tapered, extending to labellum apex.
