Characteristics

Leaf 120–300 mm long; free part 15–25 mm long, ending below flowers. Spike 30–60 mm long, 12–32-flowered. Flowers moderately crowded, semi-nodding, 7 × 6 mm, light reddish with purplish labellum. Dorsal sepal 3.5 × 2.5 mm, with dark bands; margins hairy; apex sharply pointed. Lateral sepals obliquely deflexed, widely divergent, 5 × 1.5 mm; base humped. Petals 3 × 0.8 mm, with dark bands; margins hairy; apex sharply pointed. Labellum tremulous, narrowly ovate, 3.5 × 1.5 mm, tapered to apical point; margins with numerous coarse hairs to 1 mm long; apex recurved. Callus extending to labellum apex, colluviate.
